Our process · The cascade

Nothing goes
to waste twice.

Most upcycled-ingredient companies pull one product from one waste stream. Our cascade is designed to recover more value before anything leaves the process.

From feedstock to formula

One tonne of peel.
Two ingredient streams.

Essential oil first. Pectin second. A clear sequence that respects both the chemistry and the economics of the feedstock.

01

Intake & prep

Peels arrive from processing partners, local markets, juice bars, and street vendors. They are sorted, washed, dried, and prepared—usually within 48 hours.

02

Oil & essence

Steam distillation or cold pressing lifts out the essential oil and D-limonene first: the most delicate, volatile part of the peel.

03

Pectin

A gentle acid or enzyme extraction releases pectin from the cell walls, then purification brings it to a formulator-ready grade.

04

Quality & supply

Each output is tested, documented, packed, and connected back to its feedstock source and harvest window.

Quality you can formulate with

Consistency is
the whole game.

Every batch is connected to its processing partner, intake date, and harvest window. Our quality system is being built for repeatable, industrial supply—not artisanal lots.
